1. Free in-home consultation
Oscar visits your home, looks at the opening and talks through options and budget — no charge.
2. Design & exact measure
Materials, glass, finish and hardware get chosen, then the opening is measured to the millimetre.
3. Build
Your door is built to those measurements and prepped for hardware before it ever reaches your home.
4. Installation & walkthrough
Clean installation, proper sealing and adjustment, then a walkthrough so you know how it all works.

Oscar — owner, craftsman, and the person at your door
Door Depot is Oscar's shop. He runs the consultation, the measure, the build and the install, so nothing gets lost between a salesperson and a subcontractor.
His approach is simple: listen first, measure twice, and only recommend what your entry actually needs. If a repair or a refinish makes more sense than a new door, he'll tell you.
Homeowners across Toronto & the GTA call him for entries that have to look beautiful and stand up to real Canadian weather.

Every door we build and install is backed in writing by the Door Depot Limited Warranty — the slab and frame, and the workmanship that went into it.

Transferable once
Selling your home? The warranty transfers one time to the next homeowner when registered with Door Depot within 30 days of the transfer. Transferred coverage runs up to 5 years from the transfer date and does not restart or expand the original coverage.

Coverage applies to Door Depot-supplied entry doors and Door Depot workmanship, subject to the terms, exclusions and owner-care responsibilities in the signed warranty. Your certificate and signed sales agreement form the full warranty record.

How much does a custom entry door cost?
It depends on size, material, glass and hardware. Oscar gives you a clear price after the in-home measure — nothing is quoted before he has seen the opening.
Is the in-home consultation really free?
Yes. The visit, the look at your opening and the conversation about options cost nothing and carry no obligation.
How long does an installation take?
Most single-entry installations are completed in a day. Larger doubles with sidelites and transoms can take longer; Oscar confirms timing before the build starts.
Can you match an unusual or non-standard opening?
Yes — doors are built to your measurements, including arched, oversized and double openings.
Which materials do you work with?
Solid wood, fiberglass and steel, with glass, iron inserts and hardware chosen to suit the style of your home.
Is there a warranty on the door?
Yes. Door Depot issues a written Limited Warranty with every installation: the door slab and frame, plus our original installation workmanship, are covered for the limited-lifetime period — as long as the original purchaser owns the home. Insulating glass is covered for 20 years against seal failure. See the warranty section above for details.
